General Description

Northeast Community College is accepting applications for a part-time Job Training & Safety Instructor to work in the off-campus division of the Electric Utility-Line Program. This individual would be working with the current Job Training & Safety Staff to develop and present safety meetings and training materials to the contracting utilities/agencies like: Nebraska Rural Electric Association and the Nebraska League of Municipalities. Extensive travel statewide and in to eastern Wyoming would be required.

Qualifications: Education

This individual would need to be experienced in industry standard electrical line work practices and procedures; and be familiar with the duties and skills required of an electric utility lineman. An associate degree and a combination of licensure and/or certification in the field in addition to a minimum of five years of related work experience preferred.

Qualification:Experience

Requires extensive experience in safe working practices in the utility industry. Safety certification credentials are desirable. Ongoing safety training will be required.
