|Salary and Benefits||
This position is in Salary Grade 207, with a minimum salary of $13.38 per hour. The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range.
The purpose of this position is to provide administrative/clerical support by serving as receptionist at the residence hall front desk, assisting residents and their guests; monitoring residents’ behaviors and activities via surveillance equipment; assisting in management of housing and residence life databases; notifying proper officials in event of emergency; and assisting with supervision of RA/SA team. Other duties include maintaining and cleaning the residence life public areas and posting flyers.
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree or one-year office technology certificate is preferred.
One year of experience in a clerical related field is required.
Requires the ability to operate various types of office equipment and a variety of computer software. Must be self-motivated, possess excellent organizational and management skills, and capable of working with and communicating well with young adults, together with the ability to tactfully encourage and address appropriate student behavior within the residence halls.
