General Description

Northeast Community College located in Norfolk, Nebraska and an Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence 2017 Top 10 School is seeking a talented individual with a passion for student learning to become our next Vice President of Educational Services.
The Vice President of Educational Services will serve as the administrative leader for the Educational Services Division by providing effective academic leadership, management, strategic direction, policy development, and oversight of all academic departments.
This position is responsible for overseeing compliance with Board adopted policies and facilitating the day-to-day operations of the division.
This is accomplished by:
- Meeting regularly with Northeast Community College Senior Administration, Academic Deans and the division administrative personnel and staff.
- Working with deans to initiate new programs.
- Expand delivery of instruction through distance learning and other innovative methods.
- Facilitate grant opportunities.
- Staff evaluation.
- Overseeing all aspects of student discipline and grievance processes.
- Overseeing all aspects of faculty relations.
- Project collaboration with community and business leaders.
- Expanding opportunities to K-12 schools through the early college program.
- Leading grant projects.
- Overseeing academic communication.
- Monitoring and developing division budgets
- Representing Northeast Community College by participating in different community and professional groups meetings.

Qualifications: Education

Master’s Degree in a related field required.

Qualification:Experience

A minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative leadership required. Post-secondary administrative leadership is preferred.
