General Description

Northeast Community College located in Norfolk, Nebraska and an Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence 2017 Top 10 School is seeking a talented individual with a passion for agriculture and teaching.
The purpose of this position is to instruct classes and labs as assigned by the Dean and to develop new courses. This is accomplished by maintaining requisite office hours; providing academic advisement to students; serving on college committees; attending meetings; participating in professional development activities; and performing all instructional-related activities as directed within the policies, guidelines, and regulations of Northeast Community College.

Qualifications: Education

Masters degree in an agriculture area of study required.

Qualification:Experience

Two years teaching, training or management experience is required, preferably at a community college or postsecondary level.

Qualification:Skills

Applicant should possess: advanced oral and written communication skills; expertise in teaching Agronomy and Agribusiness or animal science; exceptional human relations and problem-solving skills; proficient computer skills and the ability to use new technology in the classroom; and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
