Salary is based on the faculty salary schedule. This position is eligible for Northeast Community College excellent benefits package.
Northeast Community College located in Norfolk, Nebraska and an Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence 2017 Top 10 School is seeking a talented individual with passion for the English Language and teaching.
Requires minimum of a bachelor’s degree in English, Developmental English, ESL, or a related field. Master’s preferred.
Three years of experience in teaching is required, preferably at a community college or any postsecondary level. Experience teaching English language learners and/or developmental English is required.
This position requires the ability to instruct using various modes; ability to work with diverse populations; exceptional interpersonal skills; and knowledge of curriculum design and implementation, assessment of student learning, and student advising. The candidate must also possess strong organizational skills and willingness to explore innovative teaching techniques and best-practices.
