The program consists of 8 ensembles (3 instrumental & 5 vocal); 2 of which are auditioned touring ensembles. Candidates selected for interview will be expected to provide a 15-20 minute teaching demonstration on a subject of his/her choice and provide a video portfolio of student performances under the direction of the candidate.

Salary is based on the faculty salary schedule. This position is eligible for Northeast Community College excellent benefits package.
Northeast Community College located in Norfolk, Nebraska and an Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence 2017 Top 10 School is seeking a talented individual with passion for music and teaching.
Requires master’s degree in music or a related field. Successful candidate will meet the degree requirement or be willing to attain the required degree within two years of hire date.
Seeking an experienced vocal director who is interested in leading a vibrant, well-established music program. Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in post-secondary education preferred. Must demonstrate ability to teach students of all levels of musical ability.
Successful candidate will possess the following: strong vocal abilities, effective communication and inter-personal skills, effective organizational and time-management skills, demonstrated success leading vocal groups in a variety of genres.
