Salary and Benefits

This position is in Salary Grade 210, with a minimum starting wage of $15.50 per hour.
The successful candidate’s wage will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range.

General Description

Northeast Community College, a Top 10 Nationally Ranked Community College located in Norfolk, Nebraska is seeking a talented individual to fulfill the role of Center for Global Engagement Administrative Assistant.

The purpose of this part-time position is to assist the Director of the Center for Global Engagement with processes involved in the recruitment, admittance, and retention of international students; processes involved with outbound student study abroad and faculty exchanges; regular management of social media and webpages related to the Center for Global Engagement; and managing tasks related to day-to-day operations of the Center for Global Engagement.

Qualifications: Education

A high school diploma is required; associate’s degree related to administrative professional or related program is preferred.

Qualification:Experience

Experience with planning or actual international travel is desirable.

Qualification:Skills

Knowledge of word processing, social media and Excel is required. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy required. Candidate should have the ability to work well with all levels of college community, including students, faculty, staff, and administration.
