A stipend of $2,000 representing incidental costs and expenses incurred as a result of taking time to provide this assistance will be paid over the duration of the position, plus lessons, camps, and some on-campus employment.

General Description

Northeast Community College is starting a new baseball program beginning in the fall of 2017. Northeast CC is part of the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC). This position is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in the oversight and administration of the College baseball program. This is a infield coach position as well as other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Must assist with practices, game day operations, team travel, recruiting of quality student-athletes and NJCAA compliance.

Qualifications: Education

Associate’s degree is required.
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Qualification:Experience

Experience in Infield Coaching preferred.

Qualification:Skills

Must have ability to teach and develop infielders as well as defensive instruction. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong organizational skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, outstanding work ethic and must have a thorough knowledge of the NJCAA rules and regulations and be NJCAA compliant.
