$9.50 per hour. This is a grant-funded position contingent on future funding and is not eligible for fringe benefits.

General Description

This position is responsible for greeting, registering and providing assessments to students, and assisting instructors in the Adult Education program. Works approximately 20 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Qualifications: Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.

Qualification:Experience

Requires knowledge of computers and the ability to learn and operate computer based learning programs.

Qualification:Skills

Requires strong communication skills, organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to multi-task. Knowledge of local resources, ability to work with non-traditional and culturally diverse learners, and ability to guide students in career or college pathway also required.
