General Description

Northeast Community College, a Top 10 Nationally Ranked Community College located in Norfolk, NE is seeking disciplined individuals who are precise, analytical and capable of doing projects independently to fill the position of Data Scientist.

The successful candidate will perform advanced analytics to make value out of our data using various sources, interpreting the results, and developing visualizations to provide insights that support college initiatives.
This will be accomplished by:
- Serving as a developer and data analyst.
- Understanding tactical and strategic reporting needs.
- Utilizing statistical and mathematical technological methods, and supporting institutional research.
- Helping to lead data governance, quality assurance clearinghouse, learning communities, and related training services.
- Performing any additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Analytics Services.

Qualifications: Education

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.


At least a year experience in data analysis, report development, business intelligence or similar work.


SQL, high-level math, science, or data science, data analysis.
